Ivan (ex-paralysed)

Fate seems to be especially cruel with some animals, Ivan is one of them.
Ivan appeared at the kill-shelter in Jaen in 2007. He was six months old and was paralysed, probably due to being hit by a car. He was going to be put to sleep. He came to us and by 2008 he was walking again. He was adopted in 2008 and we thought it was an excellent adoption. But due to his adopter losing his job and having to work in another province, Ivan is spending too many days alone in a large garden from which he regularly escapes and his adopter has asked us to rehome him once more.
Ivan is a happy, friendly dog with beautiful amber eyes. He gets on well with female dogs and most male dogs. He cannot live with cats as he hunts them down. He is sociable with people but does tend to jump up them to say "Hi". He loves walking and running, and is quiet and well-behaved indoors as long has he has had exercise and is not left alone too many hours, otherwise he will start chewing whatever lies in his path.
It is urgent that we find Ivan a home quickly, he is spending too many days alone and our only alternative is to put him into a cage, which we feel would be terrible for him. Please help us to find a home for Ivan and let him have the life that he really deserves. Neutered. In Barcelona.
